Modern vehicles rely on complex engine and transmission control strategies. Where supported, we work directly with the factory ECU and transmission calibration rather than relying on generic one-size-fits-all files or devices that simply manipulate selected sensor signals.
Controlled dyno testing allows the vehicle to be loaded consistently while relevant operating data is monitored. This gives us a repeatable environment to develop and verify the finished calibration.

Towing and touring vehicles need more than a large peak dyno figure. Calibration should consider vehicle weight, tyre size, load, transmission behaviour and the way the engine delivers torque through the usable operating range.
We can develop towing-focused calibrations that improve response and usable mid-range torque while retaining controlled delivery and sensible engine and transmission behaviour.

On supported vehicles, transmission behaviour can be calibrated to better suit the engine output and the way the vehicle is being used. This can include changes to shift strategy, torque management, lock-up behaviour and other supported transmission control strategies.
Matching the transmission calibration to the engine calibration can make the finished vehicle feel more consistent and predictable than treating the engine and transmission as completely separate systems.
